Responsibilities

• Execute the complete software development life cycle (SDLC) for e-commerce solutions using Magento.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento themes, modules, and extensions.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented PHP code for Magento-based projects.
• Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to integrate UI/UX designs into Magento.
• Optimize Magento stores for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Develop and maintain APIs for integrations with third-party services, payment gateways, and shipping providers.
• Troubleshoot and debug Magento stores to resolve performance issues and bugs.
• Implement security best practices to protect customer data and prevent vulnerabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with Magento platform updates, tools, and technologies.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and team members.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience as a Magento Developer, with a portfolio of completed Magento projects.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Magento 2 development.
• Strong understanding of Magento architecture, themes, extensions, and customization.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) and frameworks (e.g., Knockout.js).
• Familiarity with Magento APIs (REST, SOAP) and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of database optimization and query performance tuning in Magento.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with e-commerce tools and concepts such as SEO, product catalogs, and order management.
• Understanding of server environments (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and cloud hosting (AWS, Azure).
• Magento certification is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
